Architecture & integration
We design architecture and integration so the system handles the load, evolves without rewrites and is clear to your team and vendors.
Challenges we solve
- A monolith slows everything down: every change is slow and risky
- Dozens of systems are wired point-to-point and integrations keep breaking
- Every team builds its own way; there are no common standards
- A vendor proposes a solution and it's unclear whether it's the right one
- Load is growing and the system is no longer coping
What's included
01Target architecture
Enterprise and solution architecture, service decomposition, technology choices.
02Integration layer
APIs (REST, gRPC), an enterprise service bus, event-driven architecture on Kafka and RabbitMQ.
03High load & resilience
Scaling, redundancy, designing for peak load, SLA/SLO.
04Architecture standards
Principles, templates, decision records (ADR), documentation in C4, ArchiMate, PlantUML.
05Design authority
Review of team and vendor decisions, acceptance, compliance with the target architecture.
06Team enablement
Onboarding architects and developers, training materials and decision reviews.

Experience
The founder designed the target cloud-native microservice architecture of a national government cloud platform — 60+ services and ~90 agencies onboarded — set a single architecture standard and acted as design authority. At a bank he built an integration layer from scratch, connecting a unified front-office system to 15 back-end systems via an ESB. For a multinational aerospace corporation he audited the architecture of 13,000 applications.
